Today, I was walking along when I saw this girl kissing her boyfriend. I thought to myself, "I wish I had a boyfriend like that…" I'm a guy, and straight. At least I thought I was. FML

This is one of those FML's where you don't deserve it and where your life also isn't ******. I would suggest that you think about your sexuality. If you're living in an homophobic environment, you can have pushed your sexuality away to avoid problems, so yeah, think again. There is nothing wrong with being gay.

So either today you found out your bi/gay or the more likely, you saw 2 people being affectionate, and, being lonely and down on your luck actually just thought it would be nice to be with somebody who shared that kind of affection, or, that you could be that guy for somebody else. While the first part is possible [in which case, is it really an FML that you're gay?] but I'd say the second part is far more likely.

Porcupines need love too! And I agree, I've been reading FML for so long, and always looked at comments thinking "ugghh, these people are harsh and just so stupid some times". Decided like a week ago I needed to stop lurking and get on bringing some reason through.

bitheway: I'm not certain that's abnormal. I'm a straight female, but certainly recognize that females are often quite sexy. I can feel a certain level of physical attraction toward a female without necessarily wanting to pursue her. I think that's true of a lot of people.

True #219 but up until I was in 8th grade I was only attracted to girls and up until then I only worried about the size of the other boys 8th grade is when I had a full crush on another guy
