Sensory deprivation

Today, I went to a theme park with my friends. I was excited to ride the rollercoasters, but just as we were about to get on the biggest one, I realized I'd had left my glasses in the car. I can't see shit without them, but I decided to go on the ride anyway. I spent the entire time screaming in terror while my friends laughed, while I couldn't see a thing. FML

So, if you can't see "anything" without your glasses, just how did you leave them in the car and not realize it much sooner? For that matter, if your eyesight is that bad, why weren't you already wearing your glasses?

So you are blind without glasses, yet got,out of the car, walked probably a couple miles to,goon the biggest coaster at the park, than noticed you are blind as a bat? YDI

I have worn glasses for 21 years - how do you walk miles around a theme park not realising you aren't wearing them? I cannot see anything, just colourful blobs moving around without mine on. Unless you have only just got them in the last 2 months and are used to being blind?, I don't understand how you could forget them in the car...need more info OP

I think this fml is bullshit. if your eyesight is that bad, there is no way you would have left them in the car.

wouldn't that make it less scary? I mean the scary part is seeing how high you are, otherwise it's just a shaky train ride

1 there's no way you walked that far around a theme park blind as a bat and didn't realize it, and 2 you can't wear glasses on coasters anyway. they're gonna fly right off unless the "biggest coaster" is for 3 year olds
