I said FYL on the theory that he didn't let you know he was the parking attendant. But I wonder if #1 might be correct.
agreed.
well that sucks. he should have deff explained it to you. but you shouldn't tell people to get lost because then karmas gonna getchuuuu.
That sucks really bad. I don't think it was your fault though, I would argue it against the city (so you don't have the pay the fine to get your car back). He can't just come up to you and say "Give me $5". He should have said "Hey, I work for [whatever parking lot company] It costs $5 to park here" I don't think this is fake. I had to park in a lot in downtown Toronto and some guy came up to my car and said "$30". I was like.. wtf, no. But then his manager came up and talked to me, and told me it costs $30 to park for the night. Sometimes the attendants assume you know they work there, even if they don't tell you and aren't wearing any indicators (name tag, uniform, etc)
Extortionist D;
try DiGiorno or get it delivered next time ;)
wow, YDI for being a douche.

I'm sure he tried to tell you what he was doing and you just didn't listen. YDI I hope that pizza tasted good while you were sitting on the curb.
Seems kinda weird... a "Sketchy" guy would ASK for $5? You'd think they'd explain first and then tell you the price - if any. I would've thought it'd be up to the customer to leave some sort of tip for parking attendance... ... HMM.
