It's never a good idea to argue about money in front of your kids, fyl and all, but a lot of kids will act out like that if they think there's money problems. That being said, time to cut off allowance and make her do odd jobs like shoveling, poop scooping, mowing lawns, etc until she not only pays off the money she stole but also learns the value of a dollar after you've REALLY had to work for it. Then be sure she's buying all her own stuff that isn't absolute necessity. Her own clothes, entertainment, junk food, make up and what not. I'm only 21 and I think that's fair. Stealing is horrible and stealing from a loved one is one of the biggest betrayals one can make.
wtf does she need 250$ for? is she addicted to prescription drugs or something!? I'd spank my kid, no matter how old she was and what these bullshit laws say!
250 dollars dollars?
I hope you made her life hell. If my mom had ever caught me stealing from her, she'd have killed me.
Kids tend to act out when their parents care so little they fight about something so trivial.
