Sad but true

Today, I went to the doctor's office, where my mother happens to work. When my doctor tried to prank her by saying I have chlamydia, my mother laughed and said she didn't believe it, adding, "Have you even seen the way she interacts with boys?" FML

Did you feel the 'burn' from that insult?

The roast of OP, RIP your dignity :P But hey congrats on being healthy instead of promiscuous and diseased! You've certainly chosen the better of the two options

Don't Patient/Doctor confidentiality and Medical Secret exist anymore ?

How would he know how you interact with boys?

Maybe OP's mom is close with her colleagues. The people my mom works with are like family to us.

Well she could have believed it and gone bat shit crazy on you..be grateful for that.

Tell your mom you don't have to really interact to have sex.

Not sure how you have sex without interaction...

...and ladies and gentlemen, that's how the concept of ******* oneself came into being.

Unless the doctor asked you first it seems unethical to say that without your permission. It also seems like a strange thing to choose when pranking the mother.

That's pretty unprofessional really. Prank or not, doctor-patient confidentiality is a thing (even if it's your mum)

Pretty sure he wouldn't have said anything if she really did...

Fair, it was a joke and OP was hopefully in on it. But it still seems like a strange prank to pull, especially on someone's mum
