Today, my mom came into my room, yelling at me about a pregnancy test that she found in my bathroom. My mom wouldn't believe me when I said it wasn't mine. Turns out my sister bought the test, threw it under my bathroom cabinet, and now she won't admit to the prank. She thinks this is hilarious. FML

Today, my mom accused me of being pregnant. She wouldn't believe me when I told her I'm a virgin, and she challenged me to take a pregnancy test. It came back with a false positive. FML
Today, after taking a pregnancy test and carefully disposing of all the evidence so no one would find out, I realized I left the receipt for it on the bathroom counter. I noticed too late as I watch my mom step out of the bathroom, and my step-father go in right after. FML
Today, I took a pregnancy test. When I saw that the result was positive, I started crying and showed my mom. She burst out laughing and told me that I had taken an ovulation test. FML
Today, my mother told me she needed a urine sample to send in to the doctors to test for any allergies. I did what she had asked and went to my room. I came down stairs later and found her in the bathroom putting my pee on a pregnancy test stick. FML
Today, my half-sister lied and told my mom I got a girl at school pregnant. My mom is unreasonable at the best of times, but after a full hour trying to get me to name this nonexistent girl, she's calling every parent from school to check if their daughters are hiding a secret pregnancy. FML
Today, my little sister took a dump in our bath tub right before we were leaving for soccer practice. When my mom found it, she blamed it on me, then made me pick it up with my bare hands. FML
Today, I mentioned to my mum that one of my friends is pregnant. She decided I was lying, that I'm the one who's actually pregnant, and that I'm going to get checked out by a doctor. FML
Today, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer. My mother then confided in me that she suspected it was a prank to get more money from our family. FML
Today, my mother accused me of stealing pills; she looked all over my room and couldn't find them. When she went back to the pantry, she saw them on the shelf below where they were supposed to be. She then accused me of putting them there while she was searching my room. FML
Today, I found out my cousin stole my used pregnancy test and ultrasound pictures the last time she came to visit, and tried to fake a pregnancy. This was two years ago when she stayed at my house. I just found out I'm pregnant again, and guess who just asked to come to stay and "visit"? FML

There's a fine line between being funny and pulling a good prank on someone, vs. simply screwing up their life and causing someone like, say, their own mother, to lose trust in them. Knowing how to not cross that line makes all the difference between you being a prankster or an inconsiderate asshole.

Oh please. Nothing like this stays uncovered for too long. Any good sister, or person for that matter, would fess up to the joke eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later. First off, not everyone's parents are lenient like yours might be. A pregnancy is actually a HUGE deal especially if OP is not at a age that her parents are comfortable with and even if she was her parents could be very reserved in which case yeah it could mean the OP gets severely punished. Second, not all siblings are freaking angels. I've gotten in trouble for things my brother thought would be a funny prank and he never owned up to it and there's no proof to show that it was the sibling. So keep your idiocy to yourself cause some people do like hearing sympathy instead of douche bag comments like yours. Thank you and have a good day.

Maybe the sister is much younger than OP? I'm pretty sure anyone can buy a pregnancy test (My cousin was too embarrassed to, and she made her 13 year old sister buy one for her). Perhaps this is the case? I mean, some 13 year olds up here are out getting high and screwing around, but that's not the case with most of them. The mother probably assumed it was safe to assume it was the older sister. Or, I'm just reading way too far into this :P And, it was the OP's bathroom after all.
