Today, my wife got her period. Every single time, she ends up asking me to go buy her some Midol after a few days of trying to tough it out, so I decided to buy her some ahead of time. She reacted by yelling at me for treating her like a child and implying that she couldn't go buy it herself. FML

Today, my girlfriend got her period. It seemed more painful for her than usual, so I offered to go out and buy some painkillers and maybe some chocolate for her. She thought I was being sarcastic and slapped me so hard I saw stars. FML

Today, I found a new way to tell if my girlfriend is on her period. If she responds to "Want me to get you anything while I'm at the store?" by screaming "God just fuck off, you cunt!" then bursting into tears, the answer is a definite yes. FML

Today, I went to the store to pick up some feminine products. As I was paying, the male cashier looked at me sympathetically and asked if it was my girlfriend's time of the month. I'm a girl and was buying them for myself. FML

Today, my daughter got her first period, so I went and got some products for her, certain that I knew what was needed. The lady cashier took one look in my basket and sympathetically asked if it was my daughter's first period and if I wanted help, since I clearly had no idea what I was doing. FML

Today, at Walmart, a woman kept screaming at her husband for the most ridiculous reasons. My friend snickered that she must be on her period, prompting her to whirl around, storm over, and slap the hell out of me, thinking I was the one who said it. FML

No it isn't at all. If that's what you expect then you've been around seriously immature and selfish women. One of my exs used to get cramps so bad she would have to lay in bed for half the day but that never made her scream or bitch or complain at me when I tried to help her. Annoying Women just use periods as an excuse to be bitches, a good woman has self control and poise. As a man I've dated both types and the ones who weren't psycho hose beasts on their periods were the better women in general.

You are a great husband OP. You should tell her that she hurt your feelings and that she should be grateful to have a man who thinks of her and anticipates her needs. I'm so thankful for my husband. He is like you, always looking out for me and taking care of me. I do the same for him.
