1. If it is the case as in #1, I totally agree. That's what I thought first, too. 2. If you sent out physical invitations and it's been awhile, well, the only people who ever actually respond to my physical invitations are older people, whereas younger people just show up. So unless your intended guests are all older people, don't worry about it! They'll be there.

this just sounds like your friends have lives and don't spend every waking hour on facebook. unfortunately, you do. "a couple weeks." only the losers say yes immediately.

I don't even have half that many facebook friends... sheesh!

Been there. For mine, I invited 40 people (family and friends) to a party. 5 responded that they couldn't make it, the rest didn't respond at all. Two showed up. Thank God I don't actually like large groups of people...
