Today, the girl who lived downstairs and who was also sleeping with my guy moved out. She left a stack of my mail she had been taking at my door. FML

When I saw "parting gift" I was pretty sure the "gift" was going to be herpes. All things considered, mail ain't too bad. Make the person pick it up, or invest in a "return to sender" stamp and stick it back in the mail box.

The only issue is the other woman took the OP's mail and returned it only when she moved out otherwise.

No, write “deceased” then send it back. Screw up her immediate future. Her fault for not forwarding the mail. If asked, as far as you know, she was dead (inside).

Stealing someone's else's mail is a federal crime. File a complaint with the USPS's Inspector General. You can even do it online.
