Try to not express such snobby, elitist cheese preferences. Good ol', red-blooded, Joe Lunchpail American cheesefood should be good enough for you. Even though it sucks, you won't bankrupt your parents by coercing them to buy your pretentious, expensive cheese.

Why should anyone care what cheese preference you have. Everyone is entitled to there own cheese. Most American cheese is not real cheese, I can see why you prefer something different it sucks.

If your parents are so dumb that they can be entertained for over 10 minutes talking to each other about what kind of cheese you like or don't, then their opinions don't really matter. They should honestly find a better use of their time. You're totally fine, and a lot of people agree with you, by the way.

OP, it sounds like your parents need to be put on an info diet, made aware that they're going to stop getting stuff to talk about when you turn 18, and remind them that when they start nitpicking you, you start thinking about finding the worst nursing homes in the area... ...but I'm petty that way.
