Today, as always, my parents wait until I go into the kitchen to drop what they’re doing, rush into the kitchen, and stare at me while I’m making food. They also comment on what I’m eating. I’ve had seven therapists and none of them were able to help me with my embarrassment surrounding food. FML

seeing a therapist is less about them helping you and more about them teaching you how to help yourself.

I'm wondering if that's what's really happening or that's how you perceive the situation. if that's true it makes no sense for them to rush in there. are they just having a friendly chat? are they trying to give pointers and your taking it as criticism? or are they just assholes that are saying mean rude things to you? if they are then hopefully you are of age to move out. if not try to keep to yourself until you can move.
