Today, I passed a homeless person asking for change. When I politely apologized and told him that I had none, he yelled angrily, "Who comes to this city without money?" I replied, "Apparently, you do." Wrong answer. He followed me, now screaming. FML

You shouldn't give money to the homeless anyway, they most likely blow it all on alcohol or drugs. A homeless man wanted my McDonalds when I was waiting at a bus stop, until my dad interveined. e.o

I just love when people begging you for money are assholes about it. As if you want to give assholes money. There was this one man in Chicago who literally hid on the side of the sidewalk right by an alley, and he just sang his soul out. He didn't ask for shit. But it was a REALLY smart move- where he was sitting on the sidewalk made his voice project across the street, it sounded like he was throwing his voice everywhere. I didn't have money, but damn, I wanted to give it to him, I have to respect musicians and intelligence like that. He's no stranger to music or projection.

I would have loved to see that! the only "street performance" I've seen here was a group of break dancers, both Korean and American. It was really cool! People were even offering them money, but they gave it back. They said they just wanted to practice performing for an audience. So cool!

Whoever says YDI is FRIGGAN STUPID because the homeless people are not entitled to the money that people have worked to earn. They aren't entitled to a single red cent you have. If he wants money, he can get a job.. get a paper route or something, you don't need to have an address for that. =D
