I'm guessing that OP and her father don't see each other often if she just found out who her father was dating? So maybe there will be less awkward dinners than we think! Although, that still leaves awkward holidays and family reunions. But of course, that's going to be after the awkward wedding...

I don't see the big deal.. Since their engaged, and you just found out, I'm assuming you don't live very near or you are away at college. The worst part will be the wedding week.. Then you can go home again:)
