Heartless

Today, at a supermarket entrance, a seemingly drunk old lady said, "Sir?" as I passed by. I just ignored her and walked in. When I walked out with my groceries fifteen minutes later, several people were standing around her, calling for an ambulance. She'd passed out on the ground. FML

I don't see why you wouldn't have just asked what she needed, instead of ignoring her COMPLETELY... :/

Why did you ignore her?! Even as a courtesy you should at least see what's wrong and if she looks bad get help for her!

Ok in defense of OP here, if he/she lived in a less-than reputable neighborhood known for criminals, drunks, weirdos (*cough-Stockton-ca-cough*) in most cases, anyone seeming like they could be dangerous would be ignored

WHYD U IGNORE HER! DUDE THATs heartless

Albert Heijn? Anyway, let this be a lesson for next time, OP.

I cannot believe so many people here would stop and ask her what she needed. Some one may have stop but sadly, OP reaction was the "commonly used" one.

That was a dick move I understand why you did that thought

I agree. I had to shake my head at this one. What is wrong with people.

Wow that was very rude of you to just ignore that old lady, karma will come back to bite you in the ass for that someday when you in a time of dire need

I agree, ignoring someone in need is heartless, but so is wishing misfortune on someone. What if someone wished the old lady ill will in this dire moment? Now op is wished the same. It's a hateful cycle. I wish them both well so that they may live another day to better themselves and those around them.
