Gold digger

Today, my 6 year-old granddaughter was sitting on my lap, playing with the rings on my fingers. After a moment, she pointed to a gold ring with many jewels and said, "When you die, can I have that one?" FML

sometimes say things like that to my mom but i'm old enough that she knows i'm not entirely serious.. you should give it to her when you die and it'll mean the world to her and she'll remember how she wanted it since she was a little girl

Hahaha that is just too funny. Don't take it too hard, little girls love shiny sparkly things.

Um so? I say that kind of stuff all the time...I'm 14. It's not like she was serious. Who DOESN'T love gorgeous diamonds?! That's like a compliment. Your life is not ******.

I used to tell my grandma those things. I always loved her rings, and if its that one she likes it will be the one she remembers you most by. Don't take it so hard.

My daughter told my mom that she can't wait till she dies so my daughter can have my mother's porcelain dolls. It's not meant literally. She's little and doesn't understand how things may sound. Children live in the now! They don't like to wait.

Mycousin used to do that to my grandmother about everything and I thought it was so rude my grandmother found it funny though so don't take it too hard most kids do that

I did that once and the person gave it to me anyways

You're a grandmother and your username is 'itswhateverr'? D :
