the fucked up part about it was that the car was a convertible :/ but now all you have to do is look for people who have the same car as you and narrow it down :D

But what is the likelihood of someone bashing out your window thinking it was their car? A better solution than just leaving your car door open to every creep and thief in the area would be to simply personalize the inside of your car, OP; buy seat covers, hang things from your overhead mirror, decorate your dashboard, seatbelt covers, or what have you. It will keep strangers from thinking it's their car because it would be unique to your personal taste.

I don't think you should have to personalize it. people should be able to know if it's their car by looking at things, such as a license plate.

If you're so fucking stupid that if your key doesn't work the first three times, and you can't realize it's your car, then you probably shouldn't be driving. And it's not like a Lisence plate can tip you off if it's your car or anything. Because it's not like every lisence plate is different or anything, if only we could live in a world with unique plates... every plate different than the other. OH WAIT!
