Clout chasing

Today, I turned 22. Instead of cutting my own cake, I stood by and smiled at a friend's belated birthday party. Her birthday was actually two months ago, but she decided to have her party on my birthday. No one remembered mine but everyone got her beautiful gifts. FML

Tell her that you thought a belated b-day party was a great idea and that since she's so good at planning them, maybe hse could help you plan yours. That should be her cue to ask when your birthday was (or know when ti was). That's when you say, "On your party, I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be ungracious"

That sux-but thy should've remembered

YDI if you were too busy feeling sorry for yourself to say anything. Seriously, people aren't going to remember.

I can't remember the last time my friends bought me a gift. Not because I don't have friends, it's because I don't make a big effing deal about my birthday. It's like, congratulations on living this long. I stopped having birthday parties when I was like 13 lol. That's about when I stopped caring too.

YOU DESERVE IT for being such a passive pushover. Are your friends mind readers??? Grow a backbone and speak up for yourself. It's so annoying when people are sissy pushovers then feel sorry for themselves - How about you DO something? Oh wait, no, you'll just complain anonymously on the internet instead.

That's why you should have said something. You're never going to get anything in life if you let others walk all over you.

FYL What you should do is throw a birthday party next week. Make it a big event and make sure everyone knows. That way you can pretend you weren't bothered about it, and still get some fun. Or you could find some new friends

WHo celebrates their birthday twice but not in the same week? ( I have 2 birthdays, but my parents are divorced.) But seriously, 2 months and on your exact day? What a bitch.
