Chill

Today, I got pulled over for the first time. When the officer came up to my window, I immediately burst out into tears due to nervousness. He kept asking me for my licence and registration. Hysterical, I wasn't able to comply. He arrested me for not cooperating. FML

are you the girl from american idol who keeps crying for sanjaya?

you deserve it, no way around that. You have to be an adult and keep your composure when being pulled over. It's part of your responsibility as a driver.

How hard is it to get out your license and registration and shut up? It's just a speeding ticket.

That officer clearly didn't need to arrest you. Did he at least try to calm you down? It seems to me that police are overreacting to situations a lot. However, I'm sure it isn't that hard to pull out your license while crying.

I almost cried the first time I got pulled over, and I think the officer noticed how scared I was because he was actually really nice to me...which is a first for any police officer I've encountered.

oh no! that's so messed up. you'd think he'd have been able to be a little compassionate. sheesh. this sounds like something i would do so i feel for you. fyl :(

it's one thing to cry a bit to get out of the ticket and another to not be able to control ur tears bc u got pulled over... which is not really that big a deal.... get it together chillax

How can so many people vote that this person deserved it? I would probably have handled it worse if I were in their situation. And sometimes cops should be more understanding, the law sickens me with situations like this one.

I think we are all being a little harsh on her. Clearly she has some mental health issues. A normal person does not react like this. She needs professional help. Hopefully she has a responsible adult in her life that can take care of her.

Good drivers don't run red lights and endanger the lives of others.
