Today, I went to a great concert. Against all odds, I got to meet the band. All I had for them to autograph was a flyer protesting their concert that was given to me on the way in. FML

Today, I went to see one of my favorite bands. They were having signings, but only the first one hundred could get one. When I finally got to the desk, they said I was number hundred and one, and to get lost. FML
Today, I went to see my favorite band in concert. When the show was over I got the chance to meet them. When I met the guitarist and told him my name, he recognized me. To my disappointment it was as the facebook creeper. FML
Today, I walked into a concert that I've been waiting months for. Immediately after passing through the doors, I was accused of sneaking in and thrown out. They wouldn't even look at my ticket, or the hand stamp they'd given me. FML
Today, I went to a concert. One of my favorite bands was performing, and I'd had the ticket for seven months, with a great seat for the show. It was all going perfectly, that is until a guy twice my height sat in front of me. FML
Today, I finally got to attend the concert I have been anticipating for weeks. The band was great. The drunk guy sitting behind me yelling profanity and out of tune lyrics in my ear throughout the entire show, however, was not. FML
Today, I was going to a big concert at my university. I paid around a hundred twenty bucks for my ticket. Outside the venue, people were handing out the tickets. For free. FML
Today, I was going to meet my friend at a concert. I got there before her, so I went in to check out the local bands that were playing before the headliner. When she got there, I went just outside the building to give her a ticket. The security guards wouldn't let me back in. She went in anyway. FML
Today, it was the concert of my life. I had bought tickets the minute they went on sale, and I'd anxiously waited until the concert date. Thirty minutes before the show, my friend got so drunk that we weren't allowed in, and I was stuck babysitting her all night in the hotel, completely missing the show. FML
Today, I drove 150 miles to see one of my favorite singers in concert. Before I got out of the car I checked to make sure I had the tickets. Did I have the tickets? Yes. Were they for today's concert? Nope. FML
Today, I went to a concert for the first time in 5 years. I got all dressed up and even ended up hanging out with the band. The night came to a screeching halt when I got a migraine and ended up in the ER vomiting non-stop. I was in the hospital all night. FML

How grateful of you, op. you get to go to a great concert, meet the band, and yet you complain about the paper that you gave them to autograph for you? And honestly, they wouldn't even notice what their signing with all the other autographs they have to sign afterwards. So calm down op.

71- I've been to about 4 concerts already and I didn't have tickets. Well I had tickets printed out but it wasn't the ~fancy~ paper you get at the venue. I think you can also get the tickets on your phone, and I don't think you want the band to sign your screen

I suppose. that's history right there. that flyer there may be thousands of them people without the flyer after the concert with the autographs will throw them out I'm predicting. I recommend you frame it and years and see if it's worth something or keep it for good old memories :)

I think an autograph would be more personal/valuable because autographs are normally made out to someone. pictures? you can search them on Google and just claimed to have been there.

fair point, but still, i think I'd prefer an autograph cus if, later in life, I don't want it anymore I can sell it (if it's a decent artist obviously) I'd just bin the picture :)

Autographs from bands are not worth very much. If you really want an autograph that is worth money go to a book signing. Compare a signed Beatles record to a signed first "Great Gatsby." For those wondering about picture of autograph, get a polaroid and have them sign it.

I'm 13 and I love getting bands to sign posters and CDs when I see them. It's nice to have "collectible" items, and you can always sell signed things on eBay and get a lot of money.
