Today, while out to lunch, my sister called me and asked me to pick her up from the mall. I told her she'd have to wait. She got pissed off and started cursing at me, so I hung up on her. She called me back 37 times until I answered and yelled "WILL YOU LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE?" It was my boss. FML

You . . . didn't look at the number to see if it was indeed her? OK, maybe you got sick of picking up the phone and looking at it and ass-u-med that it was her. Hm. Go ahead and set specific rings for work, family, friends, and people you don't want to talk to. Hope your boss got over it or thought it was funny.

Some of y'all seem to be confused about what caller id actually is. It's an option for most cell phone companies because they have to look up the name of who is calling you. The number calling is free, but the name attached to the number is what actually constitutes "caller id." On the other side, I honestly think that if someone had called me even ten times in a row I would have silenced my phone. If he left it on to hear her call 37 times, it's perfectly understandable that he'd not even bother to look. Doesn't excuse it, but it's still understandable. =/

After the 10th time, I'd have turned my phone off. That does suck though, I hope your boss is understanding!

All cell phones have a built in caller ID if you have the number already saved in your contacts, even track phone (which dont have a plan at all, you only pay for the minutes you use) have this kind of caller ID, so you should have know it wasnt your sister

10th time? I would've turned my phone off after the 2nd call. **** caller ID, it's OP's own fault for keeping the phone on.

well my phone doesnt have caller Id so for all you saying that all phones dont have caller id you are wrong give her a break this could be for real

#29 i call bullshit, i have seen pretty much every type of cell phone recently, so unless you have a 20 year old phone it does have some form of caller ID

not true, my phone, a blackberry curve 8330 has the ability to have caller id but i opted out and chose unlimited web browsing instead of Caller ID 26- Because I chose to have unlimited web browsing, there is no form of caller id on my phone other then unknown number, regardless of if they are a contact or not

Change your number. Then when your boss questions you about the call, be like...wtf, that's not my phone number. THIS is my phone number
