Once when my dad was mowing the lawn, I saw some brown turd looking things moving in a hole in the ground, so I figured I'd tell my dad after he was done mowing, well that didn't work out too well, because when I want to show him what one of them had a red ass... It was hard to tell if it was bleeding, burnt, red because the hair got cut off, leaving red skin underneath, but as far as I know today, they're all alive and well

I think you mean the family of rabbits "had been" living in your lawn. The poor things don't live anywhere anymore.
