There would be consequences for not answering your sister's call? The only consequence I can think of that would be 'acceptable' (aka, not being an example of her controlling you or you being afraid of any little thing upsetting her etc) would be if you knew she was upset to the point of breaking (like, you thought she were near suicide or something) and you couldn't get to her in person so you wanted to be there for her as much as possible and thought the consequence of not picking up would be her death. However, it doesn't seem like that's the case from how the FML is phrased and if it were, WHY would you be having sex instead of trying to figure out ways to help her?
