Today, after I recently started going back to church, my husband, who was last inside a church when he was replacing a boiler, told me I’d better knock it off because our kids threatened to stop visiting, and our neighbours think we’re “that couple.” FML

There's probably more to this. Are you pressuring them to attend or preaching at home? If your personality has changed at all outside of a few hours on Sunday morning, and it probably has, then YDI

Church is a control system. Nothing more. Don’t go there thinking they have any truth or any thing to offer. Spend more time with your family
