I'm a novice archer, and even I always make sure I'm in an open area where I can SEE if someone is around the targets (which are just paper sheets). Sorry they made such an amateur mistake, OP. Hope there's no permanent damage.

Well, your time as an adventurer may be over, but at least you can always join the City Guard.

I run an archery club and am a certified range safety officer. Who've was running the lines is liable for whatever happens on the range. You have ground to sue them, if not have them removed from their position

Also as a general rule for ranges and 3D shoots, there should always be someone in front of the target. On a target range the safety officer has to always be the last one to cross the line

that sucks op, they were careless, but you have to look on the bright side, at least you didn't get hit in the head on in vital organs, but I agree, those guys are idiots for not checking
