Today, my older sister dragged us to a restaurant that charged us $80 a piece for 8 mouthfuls of food. She does this all the time. When our youngest sister defended her, it removed all doubt that our parents still pay her bills. FML

Today, my mom yelled at me because I refused to lend her money. The reason I won't lend her money? The last time I did, she and my dad went out and bought a Macbook and a new car instead of paying bills. Apparently, I'm being 'selfish' by keeping my own money and putting it towards university. FML

I really hope you aren't talking an insane amount of money. Maybe if it was $100 or so she's just a huge moron and you can forget about it and not lend her things again. But if it was a large sum of money then I really hope you have some evidence of her agreeing on the loan, otherwise you can't do much. I can't stand family members wil believe they can be greedy just because they're family. I'm sorry OP. Hope it works out.

I don't get it. If she didn't pay you back after the first loan, why do you continue to give her money? That's just stupid! Never loan money to family or friends, it only creates problems, but if you insist on it, get it in writing.

Wait how much money are we talking about? If its up to like $50 or $100 you might want to just let it go and just not lend her money again, but if its much higher than that then theres a real issue here.
