Today, after my parents treating love like a war, always trying to score some sort of victory over each other, while me and my wife never argued a day in our lives, I’m the one staring down the barrel of divorce, while my parents have been happily married for over 50 years. Such a pity
Today, I really tried to talk to my wife how I feel that she hates me and is with me out of pity. She denied it all but by the end of the conversation mentioned she wants a divorce. FML

Plenty of people don't get along with their in-laws. Have fun with it, play pranks on your parents, make a dumb situation fun! Argue in front of them then turn around and laugh about it, as long as you and your wife are happy, what's the issue?

You Might think things are fine, but when people make suggestions, in this case one so serious it's very much possible that perhaps they saw your partner being unfaithful or your partner might have indirectly expressed to them that they were thinking of ending the marriage or not happy. Just a thought
