Today, my mom accused me of having an eating disorder, and I didn't correct her. Truth is, I lost weight after I went off the pill a year ago. I'm too embarrassed to tell my mom that I haven't had anyone in a year. FML

Today, after I skipped dessert for the third day in a row, my mom cornered me and accused me of being anorexic. I'm actually not far off being clinically obese and I'm just trying to diet, but nothing I say will convince her. She wants me to see a psychiatrist about a disorder I don't even have. FML

Today, a coworker complimented me on losing weight, and said that she wished she could drop a few pounds too. I was too embarrassed to tell her that the only reason I've lost weight is because I haven't been able to afford to eat. FML

Today, I felt sick to my stomach, so I told my mother I didn't want to eat dinner. She started accusing me of being anorexic, so I ate a little bit anyway to make her stop. I then threw up, only for her to take it as confirmation that I have an eating disorder. FML

Today, I told my mom that I'm bulimic and have been for a few years, and that I needed help. She responded by saying, "Well that's clearly not working for you. Why don't you try anorexia?" She then patted me on the head, smiled, and walked away. FML

Today, I told my mom that I think I’m anorexic and she told me she didn’t care. When I asked why, in disbelief she replied, "Honey, you are 5’3 and over 350 lbs, at this point you NEED to be anorexic." FML

If i told my mom i DID have sex she'd freak out. so not an FML. also 14 that is unreliable and you'll probably get knocked up eventually just going by that, and you would deserve it.

That's really weird, sex usually burns off 300-500 calories depending on length and intensity. You've been burning less calories and getting thinner?

Where are you getting those numbers? Everything I've read suggests that you would top out at MAYBE 300 calories if you weigh about 200 pounds and you're having extremely "active" sex for a full hour, which you probably aren't. Your argument also assumes that just because she hasn't been having sex, she's been burning less calories, which is so stupid that I don't even know how to address it.

Ewwww! These commentors are teh sick! Congrats on your weight loss! It wasn't due to anorexic, bullemia or cancer. Your life DOES NOT SUCK. If you haven't had sex in a year, I can introduce you to my brother, the 27 year old (EMPLOYED, Ladies!!), project manager. (I think he hasn't had sex in a year either...) He will be more than happy to take you out to dinner and rectify the matter.
