Today, my girlfriend of 3 years confessed that at first, she'd only dated me to get her friend jealous, and that even now, she "only kind of liked" me. I bought a ring only a few days ago, and was planning on proposing to her. FML

Not necessarily, some people may just like sex. If she knows this guy is clean, she has some random feelings for him, she feels like doing it, then she will and can (although he probably thinks it's meaningful sex). Even if it was no feelings, loveless sex doesn't equal self esteem issues.

Show her the ring, give her a huge guilt trip for ******* with your emotions, then tell her you're pawning it and dump her ass. Then be greatly disappointed with her, get over it, and find someone worth your time. You know, it's good to let out your emotions :) Good luck, OP
