Today, my cat regurgitated his food right on top of a heating vent located on my floor. Now the whole house smells like hot vomit. FML

This is the worst, OP! I am so sorry! I hope you were able to drown out the smell with candles, or opened a bunch of windows (without freezing) to air it out. Good luck to you!

Vinegar can get rid of smells when put in saucers around the room if you don't mind vinegar. I feel your pain, because one of my snakes always poos on his heat mat and I don't get home til late. By the time I get there my room smells awful.
