Today, my cat fell into the bathtub while walking along the rim. This wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't in it at the time, and if my skin was immune to being sliced open by a frantic kitty. FML

So, this is my post. It's the first post I've ever made, and they totally changed it. She didn't slice me open with any claws, because she's declawed. And fyi, I'm a girl. But thanks for coming out. And even though I'm a girl, I'd never call my cat a kitty in this context, it just sounds stupid. And she was in the bathroom and on the tub because my cats are allowed to go where ever they please. She's a maine coon and has an attraction to water that can be traced back to her breed and it's ancestors.

My cat does this a lot when I am bathing my son, but lucky for us, he loves water. Unlucky for you, OP.

YDI for leaving the door open or open enough so that your cat can get in. I personally always lock the bathroom door when I'm taking a shower or bath....
