I'm not really a huge fan of McDonalds and don't think it's especially cute to get dressed up and have dinner there, but still, you got dressed up and spent some time with your bf which is nice even if the food isn't. I don't see the FML. As someone else has already said, lots of people get take out on their way back from weddings or formals. It's not really embarrassing. People would have just assumed that, if they even gave it any thought at all.
