If that's not the definition of a douche, I don't know what is.

Your manic side deserves better than that jerk, but he was out of you depressive side's league.

are you stupid no wait that's a dumb question. of course you're stupid

Aww.... :( thats not cool!! My boyfriend has chronic depression AND bi polar disorder. You should find a way better guy! :D You deserve it!

You DO realize that's a complete contradiction, right? "Chronic Depression" and "Bipolar" completely contradict one another. Either your boyfriend is lying, you're lying, or the doctor is an idiot.

Indeed, chronic depression is a unipolar disorder, bipolar is bipolar. Thus, they're contradictory. As I already posted. And I guess it got deleted or something.

mental health is not a game with simple rules. If a doctor diagnosed with the bf those two conditions, then that's probably the way it is.

bipolar doesnt mean youre depressed. it means that you alternate between extreme happiness and extreme depression, with no control over your emotions. also, you can change from one state to another in a matter of seconds.

@ 149: You are completely wrong. There is a HUGE difference between going through life's normal "ups and downs" and suffering from bipolar disorder. Without bipolar disorder, you can take life's ups and down and your emotions react accordingly. With bipolar disorder, your emotions completely control you and and may have very little to do with what is ACTUALLY going on. Try living with that, and then say it isn't real! @OP, I'm so sorry. My ex boyfriend did pretty much the same thing. He doesn't deserve you!

That is true that you alternate between extremes but bipolar is not at the snap of your fingers. That is a completely different disease. #142

#12.#6 unless you are a licensed doctor or a victim of either if these diseases and have done extensive research on them then you have no place to talk. Your statement is completely false. Bipolar disorder is a fluctuation of moods over a period (not in a matter if seconds) and is typically seasonal. Depression is when you fall into a deep state of sadness. Therefore you can can have both. Along with other diseases such as my father who has both of those diseases and anxiety disorder.

You are the true definition of an asshole. It's clearly a real thing and people with bipolar disorder can react much more extremely than the average person. There are both legitimate manic and depressive sides. You can even find brain scans to scientifically prove the difference between the brains of those with and without bipolar disorder. I myself have bipolar disorder (which hasn't been easy in the least) and am a psychology major. It is unarguably a real disorder. I don't wish it on anyone and the medicine, though helpful, is such an inconvenience. I wish I didn't need it, but I do. Everybody around me can confirm that as well.

what a freakin a-hole. honey, you deserve an awesome guy who actually loves you. dont worry about that creep.

It's a guy. They're gay. OH AND BTW, I've nothing against gays. Just pointing it out.

Guys can be called honey.

my mind esploded.

My mind esploded too, when you said esploded.

Your manic side deserves better than that jerk, but he was out of you depressive side's league.

Best comment I've read in a while.

I have bipolar disorder and find this kind of offensive

Just wait till your high and bop him one.

I'm sorry, OP, for your shitty ex (at least he's an ex?) and the BPD. Take care. You'll find someone who's better, anyway.

Props for creativity? He's a jerk though... over the phone? I thought people were more mature, guess not.

ur wrong and rude #7

They are wrong or rude

OP= screwed*** (man)*** "my ***boyfriend*** called" either op messed up on the gender selection or actually is gay

I don't see how he's either wrong or rude. OP is listed as a man and is talking about his (ex)boyfriend, therefore it's logical to conclude that he's gay. And pointing that out and saying he's got nothing against gays doesn't make #7 rude.

he is both

whats wrong w/ u ppl???

They're just stupid, #30. Don't worry about it. Nothing is wrong with #7's comment.

so ur saying that him pointing out that there gay is'nt wrong i just think to guys can have to dont take the wrong way iam not gay girl cheerleader are'nt gay but still guys still can love

"so ur saying that him pointing out that there gay is'nt wrong i just think to guys can have to dont take the wrong way iam not gay girl cheerleader are'nt gay but still guys still can love" My brain is about to explode trying to comprehend this... Why would pointing out that the OP is gay be wrong? He's listed as a man, and he had a boyfriend. It's a FACT, unless he's bi or something. That's the only thing I could understand out of that comment, so I'm done. I don't even care to know why you mentioned cheerleaders.

Do you just really want everyone to know you're a cheerleader?

so ur saying that him pointing out that there gay is'nt wrong i just think to guys can have to dont take the wrong way iam not gay girl cheerleader are'nt gay but still guys still can love
