Today, my boyfriend broke up with me, saying he had to move away to be with his dad, who's just been diagnosed with cancer. After talking to his sister, I discovered that not only is his dad healthy, he's not moving away either; he's just gotten back with his ex. FML

Isn't it obvious what's going on here? The dad had a cancer scare and your boyfriend is discussing his love for you with his ex, hoping she'll help him avoid making the mistakes with you that he made with her. Wait patiently and he'll be back soon. YWIA.

Consider what he did a favor. He exposed just how far he was willing to go with a lie. Imagine what else he has lied about. You dont need someone like that in your life. Youll be ok, he is definitely not worth missing.
