Today, my boyfriend and I went shooting. While I was showing him how to properly hold and adjust a rifle, he accidentally pulled the trigger. The gun kicked back and hit me in the face, breaking my nose. FML

that was a one in a million thing I doubt it will ever happen agin, there really isn't alot that's not safe about it

I thought you were going to say that he shot you or something

someone who is less likely to shoot someone?

ChuckNorris141 0

thank you, not alot of people think like like that but it's true

ChuckNorris141 0

oh that's to 18 cause 22 that's not really true at all

my comment ended up on the wrong one :/ I think the comment glitches are getting worse

You really should be educated yourself before trying to teach others. Especially when the subject is deadly...

What is a man if he can't fire a gun? Also, ydi for not having the safety on...

I agree. She obviously needs to learn how to handle a rifle if the safety isn't on.

Epilepsy, not many people expect some raging idiot to come about pulling the trigger of a loaded gun when someone else is holding it.

It's a rifle. It might have not had a safety.

and if you're not gonna have the safety on, at least leave it unloaded, moron

Show it anyway

Are you saying that she "emasculated" him by teaching him how to shoot a gun? Because if so, you need to wake up and join the 21st century. I know many women that enjoy hunting, and there's not anything wrong with that. If that is not what you meant, please clarify.

I'm pretty sure he did that all by himself.

It's not her fault he doesn't know how to shoot

Did your demonstrations of how to properly hold a rifle include keeping the safety on until you're ready to shoot? Or not having your finger on the trigger until you're ready to shoot?

morgan020 0

or leaving it unloaded until your ready to shoot. we don't even take my sons BB gun anywhere til we unload the BB's from it.

I don't get why you would even have the gun loaded until he's confident with how to hold it.

softball1432 0

if you had to show your boyfriend how to do that then there's a problem there..

seems like you're shot outta luck
