Today, it's my birthday. I worked late, so I was looking forward to spending a quiet evening with my husband. When he suggested we go grocery shopping, I got excited thinking he had organized a surprise party or something. He actually just took me grocery shopping. FML

Us guys don't play with words... When we say let's go grocery shopping, we mean grocery shopping... There is no other meaning... Unless it's sex related... Then we play with all kind of words :-)

You can pick up some sweet bargains. Gotta love going to Sainsburys to buy cider only to come home with some kick-ass lego sets that were half price.

12- A lot of women (not all, of course) like to think that their significant others pick up on their ambiguous hints. They say they want pizza, but they mean they want Italian food. They say "quiet time alone", they mean "loud grandiose raging party".
