Today, I went to my 7 year old son's school for a conference with his teacher. When I got there, the teacher said "she adored me for who and what I am". I was puzzled. Turns out my son told his class that I am a "lesbian American." Wrong. I'm Lebanese-American. FML

why would it be a fyl if your kid knows what a lesbian is? i call that "culturally educated" because he knows that people are different and there isnt just one standard. besides he could have a lesbian aunt or something and that would explain his knowledge at a young age.
