Today, I was at a club with a friend. A cute guy kept smiling and looking over at me. He left his seat and went to the bar and brought back two drinks. He waved me over and then said, "Can you tell your hot friend that I bought her a drink?" FML

Today, I saw a guy at a bar that looked cute. I didn't dare talk to him, though. When I was on my way home, drunkenly singing the entire way, I finally noticed he was walking along behind me. Probably for about 15 minutes. FML

Today, it was my first time at the club. I saw a really cute girl. I finally worked up the courage to ask her to dance. Before I even got within five feet of her, she looked me in the eyes and vehemently shook her head. I did a 180. My friends saw everything. They are still laughing. FML

If your reason for being interested in him was because of his physical appearance (you thought he was cute), then why are you offended or even surprised really, when he also judged you by your physical appearance? You were shallow. He was shallow. Neither is morally superior and logic tells us that if you found him CUTE, he probably was more attractive than YOU for you to find him cute, otherwise you wouldn't think he was anything special if you could do better (duh...), so therefore an equal and opposite reaction is that he would find you NOT very cute. again- duh. Go for a guy who has mutual interests with you, who you are happy and click with for reasons other than how hot or tall he is, and make sure he is realistically in your league. And then theres a good chance he will like you back :) But if you just go for a guy because hes cute/hot/tall/strong/whatever, then don't be shocked when he rejects you because he can do better. After all, you ignored all the less hot guys in the bar to focus in on the CUTEST one. Why shouldn't he do the same? SMH. Too many girls seem to have this mentality of "Oh, if I like a guy, he is required to like me back." Its honestly a bad mentality. It's sort of like when guys have this "Oh if I pay for a girls date, she is obligated to have sex with me" mentality. NOBODY IS OBLIGATED TO DO ANYTHING THEY DONT WANT TO DO! Just bcuz you find him attractive doesn't mean he needs to show interest back. Hes not a "jerk" for Christ sakes. He just plain old didn't fancy you. Get over it
