Today, I spent several hours in freezing drizzle sampling and testing diesel fuel from an above ground, 10,000 gallon tank. Soaked to the bone and shivering like mad, I gave the manager the results. He said thank you and then told me I was at the wrong location. FML

Did no one wonder who you were or what you were doing hanging around the diesel tanks for hours on end? Unless it was out of sight, that's really unfortunate OP.

I totally agree - it seems the manager should have been much more aware of what was going on. At the very least, they should have come over by you just to ask what you were doing on their property. Hang in there OP!
