That's like saying "it's not the knife sticking out of your chest that's killing you, it's your vulnerability to stab wounds." The dude can care about how he looks if he wants to. Just find a different medication.

You don't need meds and you don't need weed (although weed is a much better alternative, admittedly). People see psychiatrists who are crazy themselves and get diagnosed with these "conditions" they think they can't fix. I have been through it. It's all in your head, anxiety, depression, bipolar are all things you can control if you choose to, take it from someone who has gotten rid of all three "prescribed conditions" without medication (or weed).

#31 that's moronic. Some people have deficient melatonin/seratonin receptors... of COURSE it's in your head tho. Where the fuck else would it be your foot?

31: So you're taking your quack doctor's antics and applying it to everyone else? You just said they're crazy, but then said craziness doesn't exist. So which is it? Was your doctor crazy and so thought you were, too, or does craziness not exist period and by default his mind is clear enough to make a diagnosis? You know, my cat's vet told me he just had minor ear infections. He had brain tumors and died shortly after. Am I going to go around and say "well, all vets are full of bullshit

you're an idiot. you can't control mental illness!!! if you could, why would anyone still have it? my best friend suffers depression because her sister was killed and she sees a counsellor because SHE CANT CONTROL IT.

Weed is good for a natural alternative, I'm all for it. But weed as an alternative to psychiatric disorders and complexes only enhances the problem. If you have anxiety or depression and smoke, you can actually get much worse. Weed is really just ok for those that don't have pre-existing condition. Also, it can actually worsen ance. If you're gonna promote a drug, read the literature on it. OP - talk to your prescriber because there are several alternate anxiety medications out on the market.

Clearly you haven't been medicated for anxiety. Finding one that alleviates anxiety is difficult, and there's always an undesirable side effect. You can't just switch that easily; there is a reason there are so many.

I, however, have. Trust me, while they're trying different meds for anxiety, you need to tell them right away if the anxiety gets worse, no matter if it's just because of a known side effect. Your doctor will change you to something else. (after bringing you safely off the drugs you are taking) There are tons of different mendocations and combinations they can and will try, that's their job. Anxiety is a bitch. I'm agoraphobic, but with medication and regular therapy, I'm attending colleg

He did say that the acne was "creating more anxiety", and not the main cause of the anxiety... So yeah, FYL.

Just go to your doctor, explain the whole thing and they'll probably be able to find you something else for your anxiety that maybe doesn't cause that side effect.. for all you know there might be another reason for your acne.. not just the anxiety.
