I once caught a quick yank before going to class, but I forgot to close the **** video on my laptop. Instead I put my laptop on standby and thought it was all good. Then I get to class (freshmen chemistry, like 200 people), sit down in the middle of the room, and start up my computer. Loud, pornstar moans and groans fill the room, and I slammed my laptop shut... and learned the very same thing you did about the speakers. Solution? Rip the battery out of the computer.

Sucks, but I am also a dumbass (and have proved it too many times), and even I know to shut the laptop off if that happens. Really, I'm a way, YDI (and in a way you didn't).
