Point of biology. Wasps go through 4 life stages: egg, larva, pupae, and adult. Only adults can sting. They come out of the pupae fully grown.
Thank god you aren’t allergic!

How can baby wasps sting? Eggs larvae and pupae can't sting and barely move, if anything they just wriggle in the paper nest. I've seen someone pull out the larvae of paper wasps and cup them in his hand to feed to his chickens!
