Today, I got the courage to ask my mom if I could go to the movies alone on my first date with my new boyfriend. She said ok, which was surprising because she never lets me go anywhere alone. When I got to the theatre with him I saw my mom. She had saved seats for us. FML

hey in all accuality her mom said she can GO to the movies on her own, never said anything about staying there alone. yeah my parents are all about using loopholes against me so I've gotten smarter and leave none ( for the most part). got to be smarter than your parents. :D

This is why I always used to lie to my mother. Tell her you're going out with friends or something.
