Today, I got no happy birthday wishes from anyone. I decided to call my sister to see if she'd remembered. My 6-year-old niece answered, so I told her it was my birthday. She said that it's tomorrow. After ten minutes of arguing with a 6-year-old, I checked the calendar. It's tomorrow. FML

Today, I took a day off from work for a doctor's appointment. It ended up taking a lot longer than I expected, because while I was on my way, my mom called to inform me that my great aunt passed away this morning. As a result, I showed up extremely late and was berated. And the worst part? It's my birthday. FML

Today, it's my birthday. My grandma posted about it on her Facebook wall, but people got confused and thought it was her birthday instead. She got twice as many birthday wishes as I did, and that's including the ones I got outside of Facebook. FML

Well being an aunt isn't a easy job. You can't expect her to remember everyone's birthday like all the nieces, nephews, cousins etc. Pretty sure she's still awesome!

#18, are you kidding? Being an aunt or an uncle is a simple job. Just as long as you don't damage the kid, you're doing pretty well. I only remember one of my niece's birthdays because is it the same as my daughter's -- the other one's is in October, I think, or maybe the winter?
