Tbh I dont see a problem. Clearly that ring was quite expensive so there was no point losing all that cash just to go buy another expensive ring. Plus he must really like it to give it to you and actually marry you.

get over yourself. Those damn rings arent cheap. A lot of people do that. They get engaged (before actually getting to know the person) and when it doesnt work out, they take the ring back.

It really shouldn't matter it's not the ring that proves his love it's the actions of the person and the meaning behind it.....if My fiancée got me a bubble gum machine ring it wouldn't matter cause it's about how much he loves me......

You are so incredibly right. lol. i think all the people on this page that jump on the 'hate the husband for being inconsiderate band wagon' really arent seeing that HEY! at least she is engaged, so what if the ring once was the ex's? its hers now.
