It's not really different, it's exactly the same thing. Only difference is that in our culture(American culture) it is considered completely gay for a man to have any type of contact with another man. In some cultures men hold hands while walking and put their arms around one another and it's not gay at all. They're all completely straight. Just as some girls do that here and it's considered completely straight for chicks to hook their arms together while walking.
