i call fake maybe my knowledge on bees is lacking but beehives aren't exactly things u just step on, for one, in a forest situation 99.9% of the the time bee hives are up in trees and on the off 0.1 chance that it fell down u can hear the bees buzzing arwd plus a bee hive is kinda hard to miss so if u did actually step on a bee hive YDI!!!!

It was probably yellowjackets or other hornets, as they nest on the ground. They're hard to see even in the daytime.

#35 it might not have been a bee hive but some kind of hornet or wasp. some wasps only build their nests underground. you'd know before you stepped cuz they make a clicking sound when you get too close

My knowledge of bees stretches to thinking that most bees live underground in holes left behind by moles and the like.

Yellow jackets make holes in the ground too. I've stepped on one on the ground too.. If you're going to be a smartass, at least be smart.

Maybe if you cross breed them with butterflies then you'll get the purple and orange.
