Today, we ran out of milk and my 4 year-old son came up to me and asked if he could "milk" my wife's breasts for his cereal. Apparently, he thinks my wife doesn't love him and his sister is selfish for not sharing her milk. His sister is only one month old. FML

As long as she doesn't have you sucking on her teet till you're 7 then I see no issue here. Ydi because there is nothing wrong with it. Be greatful your mom cared enough about you to keep pumping all those years.

I'm jealous. I wish my mom had breast fed me longer. apparently she stopped breastfeeding me when summer hit because "it was too hot to breastfeed". and that's complete bullshit. I'm going to keep breast milk in my daughter's system as long as possible to keep her as healthy as possible.

You should be happy that your mother was willing to pump to give you breast milk that long, so you could continue to get the health benefits from it. Breast milk is meant for humans, why are so many people disgusted by it?

Baby food is meant for humans too, and it would be weird if a kid was still eating that at age 7.

Because an infant can not eat solid foods it is blended. It's all the same food, just processed differently so that the baby can eat it. When my husband got his wisdom teeth taken out, I would blend up his food so he could eat easier. Same thing, and not weird.

how is this nasty? to be honest, I was breast fed untill I was five. it was do to the fact that I was premature, but I'm sure your mom was just trying to do what she thought was best for u.
