Geez, Op, when it rains, it pours. The timing couldn't be worse. :p Just ignore them, it doesn't matter what they think, and many women use tampons, so forget it ever happened. :p Chin up, Op.

Why not just take the important stuff (e.g. wallet) from the bag and leave stuff like tampons in the bag? It's not like you can still use them after already absorbing gutter water...

#15 no, not really. Scooping tampons out of dirty gut-water while your ex walks past with his gf is pretty embarrassing. However I hope Op will be able to laugh it off soon :)

I can't even imagine how hard and embarrassing that would be. Having them see you while they are out together would be hard enough, but to have them see you at that unfortunate moment? Wow, my heart goes out to you OP

Well...they usually come in a pretty small box to begin with. So it's not like it would take up much handbag space.

If you have plenty of room in your purse for them, why not? I usually have a bunch (but I keep mine in my glove box) just so I won't have to worry about running out or replacing them. It's funny, I've had girlfriends suddenly get their periods and ask if I have one to spare and yep, I do. (:

No not really. I see it as OP dropped her bag and her ex just happened to be walking by...how is that one up for him? Your comment is a waste of space.

Well, she'd have to pick up the bag afterwards either way. I just don't see the point of removing the tampons from the bag separately instead of picking up the entire bag and dumping the tampons later. In the meantime, the tampons might even help get most of the water out of her handbag :)

Because she was scooping them from the gutter. Seems obvious they'd fallen out. She was being a tidy Kiwi!

I'm so sorry OP. Just keep your head up high! Maybe next time put your tampons in a little purse thingy or in the zip- up compartment of your bag.
