Today, at work I got an urgent message from my boyfriend that there was an emergency and I should come home immediately. I took my last personal day of the month and drove the half-hour home. The emergency? The cat had vomited on the comforter. FML

Yeah, well, as other people have said, I don't really understand why you didn't call him back to find out what the emergency was, but even so, the fact that he called in the first place indicates something kind of wrong. My guess would be this isn't the first time he's sat back on his arse and made you do the dirty work for him.
