Today, at my workplace, a TV was installed just above my register at work which plays the same mind-numbingly awful 13 second ad on loop for the duration of our latest sale. The sale lasts for what are going to be three very long weeks. FML

Today, at my job at the mall, our music malfunctioned and now will only play the same three songs over and over again. Our manager won't let us turn it off because "the customers won't notice". FML

Today, the satellite radio at work went on the fritz, playing one song over and over. Management wouldn't turn it off, though, because then customers would miss out on all those upcoming-sale announcements that run intermittently. Meanwhile, I got to listen to "Footloose" for eight hours. FML

Today, I was watching a movie online. There was a 15 minute ad. 13 minutes into watching an ad about birth control, I noticed that there was a "skip this ad" button in the corner. FML

Today, I went to a store to buy a 43-inch TV that was on sale. The sale was so good that they sold out on the floor. I went to guest services and asked the employee if they had any in the back. She literally went to the back of the room, let out this god awful fart, came back out and said, “Sorry, we don’t.” FML

Today, my manager made everyone put up Christmas decorations around the store. As well as this, we're going to have Christmas music playing on repeat all the way through to January. It's not even September yet. FML

you know the wires that come out of the tv? buy some scissors that just so happened to be on sale and cut ALL the wires!!

I used to work at chuck e cheese. they have those technical characters on the stage that do a concert and it was about an hour and it looped. of only changed twice a year. but it'd go back to the old one. torture

EXERCISE YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!!!!! PETITION AGAINST THE WRONGFUL INSTALLMENT OF THE TELEVISION AND THE REPETITIOUS DURATION OF THE ADVERTISEMENT. . . Or just unplug it.
